Stacey Abate

Since becoming a grants professional in 1997, Stacey E. Abate has raised approximately $60 million from all types of foundations and government agencies. 

Stacey is a staff writer for RWJ Barnabas Health, has her own grants consulting firm since 2000, and was the founding President of the Grant Professionals Association, NJ Chapter. 

Stacey joined Rutgers University in 2016 to teach grant writing and share her expertise with the next generation of non-profit professionals.

Prior to grant writing, she was an interpreter and teacher of the deaf.
