Ann Marie Baker is the Vice President of Design 446, a Manasquan, NJ-based Marketing and Advertising firm. Since joining Design 446 in 1986, Ann Marie has been involved in nearly every facet of the company. Beginning her career as a designer, with a formal fine art education and degree, she is now leading Design 446, guiding local, regional and national companies in developing brands, strategizing and establishing consistent and creative marketing campaigns.

For the past 35 years, Ann Marie has consulted and managed marketing projects for some of the largest names in the homebuilding industry, including K. Hovnanian Companies, Lennar and Pulte Homes. Through her leadership, Design 446 has garnered numerous local, state and national awards. In addition to working with the company’s core business clientele, Ann Marie has expanded the client base to include a myriad of new business start-ups and company rebrands.

Design 446 also serves many of New Jersey’s non-profit organizations. Working in this niche puts the company’s powerful resources to good use in helping “for impact” organizations expand their reach, raise necessary funds and communicate their valuable missions. Ann Marie most recently developed and launched Impactship, a Design 446 program that pairs college interns as designers, writers, marketing majors and social media specialists with non-profit organizations. This helps to provide a student with valuable onsite work experience while teaching the importance of community involvement. As a volunteer, Ann Marie proudly sits on three non-profit boards, HOPE Sheds Light/RAFTS, Ocean County YMCA and The Garden State Philharmonic. She is a member of the Mercy Center marketing committee and the Greater Toms River Chamber of Commerce non-profit committee.

Ann Marie has been married for 30 years to Douglas J. Baker they have two incredible sons, Michael and Mark. Together they are foodies, travelers and share the passion of community involvement.
